WCG Canada CrossFire Grand Finals This Weekend
We are now coming down to the final hours before the top CrossFire team in Canada is crowned as winner. The 3 teams who have qualified for the Grand Final are vVv LifeLine, HRG, and Omniscient. Over the last few months WOGL has run 3 qualifying events to find the best of the best from Canada and it will all be decided this weekend. One team will come out victorious and compete on behalf of Canada. The winners in addition to their in game prizes will also win an all expenses paid trip to Korea. It is all on the line this weekend so stay tuned.

Evil Geniuses Idra Defeats Team Liquids Sheth for the IeSF Starcraft 2 Qualifier
Tonight ends a great few weeks as the WOGL IeSF Qualifier for Starcraft 2 ends with Evil Geniuses Idra taking a 3-2 win over Team Liquids Sheth in the Grand Final. Idra fought back after losing in the Winners Bracket 2-0 to Sheth to meet him again in the finals. WOGL would like to thank all the players and spectators for their support as tonight's stream went over 2300 live simultaneous viewers. We would also like to thank Axel Toss for casting these events. Finally we would like to thank Steel Series and the IeSF for their support of this event. We look forward to competing in October against the rest of the world in the IeSF World Championship.

WOGL to Host A.V.A IeSF U.S Qualifier
The World Online Gaming League is proud to announce that we will be hosting the Alliance of Valiant Arms IeSF U.S Qualifier in conjunction with IJJI GAMES. WOGL has worked with IJJI GAMES in a broadcasting capacity over the last 2 years and this year will be running the tournament.

Registration is set to open on Monday August 8th where the top teams in the U.S will compete for the chance at an all expenses paid trip to Korea to compete with teams from all over the world for a cash prize pool of $20,000. Events do not get any bigger than this so you do not want to miss it. That’s not all! The event is so big that IJJI GAMES is planning on putting in a prize of its own for 1st - 4th place and we hear that it's cash!!!

WOGL CEO Stephen Tucker said, We have been working with Wook Kim and IJJI GAMES for quite a few years now and last year I had the opportunity to attend the IeSF event and watch our team bring home the win. The prizes this year are staggering which shows how much the competition in A.V.A is growing. I think it’s great to be involved with IJJI GAMES and the IeSF in this capacity and it will be even better if we can repeat the great performance we had last year. Teams have big shoes to fill but I think it can be done."

Wook Kim IJJI GAMES Project Manager state, "$20,000 cash prize pool in IeSF and working with WOGL are all great things for Alliance of Valiant Arms. I’m hoping that the USA team can take home the trophy as we did last year in IeSF. This year, there are 7~8 teams instead of 3 so the level of competition has increased immensely. WOGL Get's Ready for StarCraft 2 Event
Today marks a great day in the growth of WOGL as we get ready to launch the first IeSF qualifier for Starcraft 2 here at WOGL. Some of the top professional players such as Idra, Sheth, Incontrol, Agh, Darkcell, Zelniq, KawaiiRice, Cruncher, and Axslav from teams like Evil Geniuses, Complexity, Fnatic, FXO, and many others will be playing for 1 spot to compete against 40 nations at the IeSF World Championship in Korea. Beginning on Wednesday August 3rd we will be bringing you live coverage from professional casters such as Alex "Axel/Axeltoss" Rodriguez. We would like to invite all WOGL members and guests to come and join in on this exciting event which is one of the biggest events WOGL has been involved in to date.
