[tutorial] player and team registration "how to"

Included in this Tutorial for EU league and tournament player and/or team registration.

1. New Player Registration - all players must complete this step (Use your ingame name or very similar)

2. New Team Creation - only team leaders must complete this step

3. Registering Team for a league or tournament - only team leaders must complete this step

4, Joining Team on League - all players must complete this step, but only after your team leader has created the team

5. Anticheat and Forum Registration - Forum Registration is used to log into the Anticheat, make sure you have the same name as you used in new player registration - all players must complete this step

New Player Registration.

Step 1 - Register as a WOGL member at WOGL.ORG



1.a) Register with the WOGL by registering a forum account at: http://www.wogl.org/forums/
- IMPORTANT: MAKE SURE YOU USE YOUR INGAME NAME FOR YOUR FORUM REGISTRATION NAME.

Step 2 - Register on the League System.



2.a) Choose CAEU Search and Destroy from the League dropdown menu at www.wogl.org or follow this link: http://www.wogl.net/league/index.php?l=13


2.b) Click on Register link located on left hand side. See above image for example.



2.c) Follow on-screen instructions and fill out your information. For Login, please use the same name you used in the forum registration which should be your IN-GAME name. Click Submit. See above image for example.

New Team Registration - skip this step if you are not your teams leader

Step 1 - Team Leader Login




1.a) Team leader must first login to the league system. See above image for example.


Step 2 - Create New Team




2.a) Select Create new team in Profile box. See above image for example.




2.b) Fill in required information, Tag & Name of team. Click Submit when done. See above image for example.




2.c) Click on Team management link located in Profile box. See above image for example.



2.d) Fill in required information, remember what you enter in Team's Password box as you will need to give this to your team mates, click Save when done. See above image for example.

Please note, you only need to do this once. Creating a team for additional league type is not needed.

How to Register your team for a League / Tournament (for team leaders only)

Step 1 - League Select



1.a) Select EU SnD from navigation bar drop down menu for "Leagues".

Step 2 - Team Leader Login




2.a) Team leader must first login to the league system. See above image for example.

Step 3 - Team Register



3.a) Click on Registration Link located in Menu box. See above image for example.



3.b) Click "sign up" button. See above image for example.

Players: How to join an existing team (team leader must have created the team for players to do this)

Step 1 - League Select



1.a) Select EU SnD from navigation bar drop down menu for "Leagues".

Step 2 - Player Login




2.a) Player must first login to the league system. See above image for example.

Step 3 - Join Team



3.a) Click on Registration link in Menu box. See above image for example.



3.b) Select team name from list of registered team's for EU Season One. See above image for example.



3.c) Enter Team's password provided by Team leader, and reason of join, then select Join Team button. See above image for example.

Anti-Cheat Download and installation (all players must have the anticheat in order to participate)

1. Create a forum account. If you didnt already register for WOGL as a player do so now, this account is used for your Anticheat login.

-Use the same name as you used for your player registration, the same or very similar to your in-game name.
-Make sure you use a valid email address in case you need to change your password
(IF YOU LOSE YOUR PASSWORD AND CANT SIGN INTO THE ANTICHEAT ON GAME DAY DO NOT EXPECT TO PLAY THAT DAY)

2. Download and install the ScrimSpot Anticheat

-If you made your forum account just before you ran ScrimSpot and you get a message saying "login failed", the AC is probably working. It takes a day usually for the ScrimSpot database to be updated with new registration information.
-If you are having a problem running ScrimSpot other then "login failed" make sure you have NetFramework 2.5 and Microsoft Silverlight installed on your pc. If problems continue look in the ScrimSpot forum thread for help or file a help ticket

3. Test your Anticheat before game day to make sure it works.
DO NOT WAIT UNTIL GAME TIME TO MAKE SURE YOUR ANTICHEAT IS WORKING. You can run the Anticheat anytime in game, simply close the game, turn on the ac, open and play the game for awhile, then right click on the green s in the lower right corner of your windows screen and click exit. If your game data uploads properly your anticheat is working. IF ON GAME DAY YOU HAVENT TESTED THE AC AND IT DOESNT WORK, YOU PROBABLY WILL NOT BE PLAYING IN THE MATCH! Poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on ours!
