120 is a bit low. I know a few people that are US and have a steady 130, but they run at like 120 FPS so they don't lag whatsoever :/

i have 10-20 ping but i think the limit should be 150 ping. 150 ping limit because they might have bad bandwidth to go with the high ping which makes them lagg even harder.

I think it does not matter much, because just like you suffer from our ping, suffered much, and more with the lowest ping you, I play counter strike, and when I play on some servers brs, my ping is 20 ~ 30, and play with people from 100 ~ 200 ping and really have an advantage over them, but sometimes, I get high ping bad for them, but the advantage is absurd, I think there is a limit because the ping .. even because the advantage is greater for those who have low ping, than for those who have high ping!
But a ping above 300 constantly think it should not be allowed, because it causes hit box and you shoot enough and not the damage. |

Honestly anything over 100 and my bullets have trouble registering. Mines stable 60 and it's still not perfect. When people have over 180 I start noticing they are lagging.

Z8Games - Tournaments
Could someone explain how South American's ruin competitive play... Sure, they might make the Beta Clan Server a bit gay, but let's seriously look at the last z8games tournament where there wasn't a ping limit. Final 8 = No South American Team Final 16 = Big_Bang and Namajency... Please notice the first time they played a non South American team, they lost. (and no, K.0ne is a chinese clan, not South American) The only South American team to beat a non South American team was first round du3list_BR and they beat an european clan (which means they have highish ping too). Other then that, every South American team that went against a European/North American clan... lost. So with that presented, please, someone tell me how OVERALL high ping ruins competitive play. (sure, they might tank a shot or two, but do you realize with a low pinger vs a high pinger, that a low pinger tanks quite a bit too, go check replays if you think I'm wrong) One quick thing - FPS lag is only client side (which means only the person who is playing that character sees that lag), Internet lag everyone sees.
