With an exciting Season 2 kicking off, as well as very smoothly thus far, it's time for two interviews, with the teams for this weeks Match of the Week. First the interview with e7 Gaming, represented by Bcuzz, current defending champion, and then followed by Boinas Verdes, who are represented by Ederflopes. Let's get onto the interviews.

e7 Gaming

Justin: Hello and welcome Bcuzz, hopefully we can get some good questions in this interview with you!

Justin: Having won last season, how has e7 prepared for this current Season? Practicing harder, fine tuning, any roster changes?

Bcuzz: Well we definitely have had some roster changes, as for practice, not so much.

Justin: In the previous Season, e7 shocked pretty much everyone with the upset of H2O, followed by the swift defeat of VerTu in the finals. Is e7 still capable of such a strong and surprising performance with your upcoming matches, especially with the loss of certain key roster members like Gimpie?

Bcuzz: No doubt Gimpie is a huge loss to the team, not only skill wise, but he held the team together pretty well last season. And yes we are still capable of winning WOGL.

Justin: The doubt that is weighing e7 down to fourth or fifth in certain seasonal predictions is that e7 may lose Gimpie. But also there has been questions about the motivation for playing being lost, due to the repeated matches forfeited. What exactly is going on behind this?

Bcuzz: The lack of motivation has nothing to do with the forfeits we have had in Pre-Season. Three of our starters were on vacation for just about all of Pre-Season.

Justin: Regardless, e7 is on the spotlight once again with the MOTW cast this Tuesday. How are the nerves and the preparedness coming along for the cast? Any worries about Boinas Verdes?

Bcuzz: Being in the spotlight and e-rev is nothing new to us, so I don't believe that will affect our performance. Haven't really played with BV much just a few times last season, so I'm not sure what they are going to bring to the plate.

Justin: With the map being Warhead, the most played SnD map, how has it affected your practices, and will we see anything new that we haven't seen before on Warhead, or any surprises we should be excited for?

Bcuzz: Well, we have been failing quite hard on WH lately, but we always seem to pull it together when its match time. Excitement? I'm sure there will be plenty of that with Trick commentating.

Justin: Is e7 aiming to be in the top 4 teams this Season, or are we going to see this as an 'off-season' for e7, until Season 3?

Bcuzz: We're going for the shirts baby!

Justin: With Pre-Season done and almost into Week 3 for SnD, what teams have you noticed that may upset the current veteran teams, and what veteran teams still have their gears turning efficiently, from your perspective?

Bcuzz: Well since I was gone for Pre-Season I didn't really follow it too well, must say though that BEB has been looking pretty good. We've had some good scrims with them in the last few days.

Justin: Lastly any shouts or thanks to anyone in particular, or any last words before the MOTW?

Bcuzz: Of course, want to shout out to gimpie this will be his last game with e7 this season. =(. Also shout out to whetz!

Justin: Thanks for your time and this fantastic interview, Bcuzz. Good luck to e7 tomorrow and the rest of the Season!

A great interview with e7, next up is Boinas Verdes and their thoughts on this season, and the upcoming MOTW. Here's Brandon and ederflopes, enjoy.

Boinas Verdes

Brandon: What does it mean to you and your team to be the first Brazilian team to be playing a North American team on e-rev?

Ederflopes: A unique and un-expected opportunity. Boinas Verdes got very excited about it and we are trying our best to put on a real show for everyone to enjoy.

Brandon: Coming off of a disappointing loss to ProCore Gaming in Week one, what have you done or changed to improve for this week?

Ederflopes: The map and some inner clan disagreement in addition to the great performance and strategy in ProCore side made us lose. Now we are a lot more prepared and we are hoping to make a more competitive match even against defending champs e7.

Brandon: I'm sure we're all wondering what Boinas Verdes signifies in Portugese. Can you give us a little information on the clan name?

Ederflopes: Boinas Verdes means Green Berets (United Sates Army Special Forces).

Brandon: What does your team's practice schedule usually consist of? Is it more scrimming, or set practices like going over the maps?

Ederflopes: We are a team made of friends, almost a family. Every player has his best and worse maps so we help each other. We also scrim mostly against the other Brazilian clans like Forasteiros, MKB II OwnedBY, RANGERS and the American clans like ProCore, VerTu, etc...

Brandon: We all know that South America will be cut off from Combat Arms in October, what things will you be doing before then?

Ederflopes: We hope that they change their minds in that decision. As you can see, there are a lot of legit Brazilian teams that try hard and are good even with trashy internet and computers.

Brandon: If Nexon decided to have a Combat Arms South America, would you be interested in playing in it?

Ederflopes: No doubt about it, but it would not be as competitive as it is now with WOGL.

Brandon: Alright that's all the time we have today, thanks for your input Ederflopes.

Ederflopes: Thank you for the opportunity in playing a live match and I would like to congratulate you for the organization of this championship.

Thanks to bcuzz of e7, and Ederflopes of Boinas Verdes for these two interviews, and wish them both good luck in the upcoming MOTW on the 18th, Tuesday at 10:00 PM Eastern. See you there on our IRC, and in our Ventrilo!

Really good interviews, definitely better than the previous interviews. Good job.

Was interesting to read the insight on the BR's view of CA. Was also lol @ Bcuzz's epic answers. GG.
