Hypercam @ 800x600 resolution.
Been told it works, but it records everything really fast or something so you need to slow it down through either the settings or while editing. I don't know though, just been told by different people in teams. |

Thx for the help, but I think I will retire my search lol. It appears to be too difficult to find a program that fits just right. Nobody wants a video of me anyways, there are plenty of others out there - but if you think I cheat I have teamview (Sorry hackusators, I attempted to make a movie but to no avail).

Yeah I haven't tried Hypercam with that resolution, but it does record kind of fast: Here's my vid recorded with hypercam back when my comp didn't lag so much YouTube - Combat Arms: Bald_eagle
Edit: I didn't speed it up at all, that's just how Hypercam records |

I think you should try 1AVCapture. It will capture your full screen or a region of it, you can set the frame-rate so that it doesnt interfere with your gaming, you can record audio from the what you hear audio-line, and it will remain stealth while recording being commanded by hotkeys. Compression formats include all codecs you have installed or directly to WMV.
PC Windows Software Download 1AVCapture - screen capture software, record pc desktop screen, pc video recorder software, time stamp video capture software, screen capture with time stamp, .. Best, Alex |

I might try that out, I was just using ZD recorder which works great with very little lag but you cant adjust the FPS. If I could lower the FPS then it would prob run virtually invisible.
Edit: I don't recommend the 1AVCapture for anybody to use. It is not user friendly and is just a pain. Edit: ZD Recorder 3.0.3.0 works very well, only slightly choppy gameplay on my system BUT you cannot adjust the FPS that you record in ZD Recorder 2.6.4.0 fails to work at all for combat arms Last edited by aeguytn@live.com; 06-14-2009 at 04:22 PM. |

I suggest to try PlayClaw. Fast and good (for me). Have 2 modes with different performance and quality (one of them is like in fraps). You don't need to set 60-90 fps to play smooth. If you need 30 fps video, set it to 30 and play with 90 (or how much can produce your hardware). Here it is: PlayClaw Here are some comparisions of game recorders: Game Video Recorders test drive |
